ABOUT ME

I completed my graduate degree in Mechanical Engineering in May 2020. I discovered late in my college career that I also have a strong interest in astrophysics.

The summer of 2017 (after my freshman year), I worked along side a graduate student doing research with IoT (Internet of Things) devices, helping to develop a LabVIEW package to connect myRIOs to ThingWorx.

After my junior year, I worked for Aurora Flight Sciences in Cambridge.

Outside of academics, I was a varsity athlete on the Tufts Fencing Team, leading the team my last year. I also led the Tufts Math Society for three years, organizing guest lectures, carrier fairs and game nights, and participating in the famous Putman exam.

As part of the the Tufts chapter of SEDS (Students for the Exploration and Development of Space), I helped build an I-class model rocket, though the parachute did not deploy properly and it landed in a swamp.

After graduation, I designed and built my own camper, to take a trip around the US.

In my free time I enjoy hiking, writing stories and taking pictures. The photo at the top is one I took on a hike in France while I was studying abroad there during the summer of 2018.
